Folge Nr6: Malente

Sprache: Deutsch

Folge Nr5: Dj Vadim

Language: English

Dj Vadim is a Musician and Dj born in St. Peterburg Russia. He is based in London, but most of the time he is on tour all over the world. I met him while he was in Switzerland for a show in Basel at the "Beat on the Street" Festival.
My favourite track from Dj Vadim is "Black is the Night". It can be found on the Album Sound Catcher from 2007. The new album from Vadim is called: U Can't Lurn Imaginashum

Dj Vadim told me, he did a remix for the band Fat Freddys Drop. It will be released soon on the second single release from their 2009 album Dr Boondigga and the Big BW.

Folge Nr4: Dent May (and his Magnificent Ukulele)

Language: English

Dent May is a Singer / Songwriter from Mississippi. This year he released a pretty cool record called "The Good Feeling Music of Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele". The album was released from the label "Paw Tracks" which is run by the guys of the well known band "Animal Collective".

I recorded this podcast together with Dent before he did his show at Cafe Mokka in Thun. Because in the backstage and also in the garden it was a bit noisy, we recorded the podcast inside the tourbus.

In the beginnning there was a liitle missunderstanding. Dent understood, he has to play his favoured tracks of his own album. Thats why he is playing first two songs of his own album. After this, he is going to play his Top3.
